Life is a journey. They say “when the student is ready, the teacher appears.” I’ve found this to be true. But that teacher doesn’t have to come in the physical form we’re used to seeing standing up in front of the class. It could be a parent, friend, stranger, old coach, mentor or even someone who’s no longer living that we’ve never met in person like an author (Leo Buscaglia) or even the prominent civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. MLK was one of those people who inspired me on my life’s journey.
